This portfolio presents a selection of earlier works, mainly portraits and still lifes, created up to and including 2025. These works reflect my background in classical drawing and painting.

For eight years, I studied at St Lucas Atelier in The Hague, where I developed my skills in traditional drawing and painting techniques.

I later continued my education at MKXtra Ateliers in Amsterdam, a three-year programme that allowed me to further explore my own visual language.

Although my current work has moved towards abstraction, this earlier portfolio remains an important foundation. The attention to (mixing) colour, proportion and composition that I developed in these portraits and still lifes continues in my work today.
